Title:
SPEED CHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2597080
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a speed changer by which meshing with pinion rack teeth is smoothed and motive power can be outputted from a case to be moved even after a driving shaft is stopped by moving the rack teeth in the speed changer in the direction for separating from each other, and energizing them in the direction for approaching each other.
CONSTITUTION: A driving shaft 4 freely movable in the orthogonal direction to the rotational center line CL through a displacing means 3, is arranged in a case 2 to be moved being rotatably pivoted on a stationary member. Plural pairs of rail parts 5 (5a to 5c) extending in parallel to each other by opposing to each other on both sides of the rotational center line CL are arranged side by side, and a slide frame is moved between the rail parts 5. Rack teeth and cam surfaces 11 are formed on the internal side to which an opening part of this slide frame is opposed, and pinions 12 (12A to 12C) respectively arranged on the driving shaft 4 and cam plates 13A to 13C are engaged with each other, and the rack teeth energized in the direction for approaching each other are moved in a locus approximate to a virtual internal gear pitch circle meshing with a pinion 12.
