The speed command generating device of the elevator calculating a speed command value in every predetermined operation period and outputting a speed command signal to a driving device of the elevator in the acceleration of the elevator, includes a speed command value correction means calculating the speed error of the speed command value calculated in the present operation period with respect to an acceleration rounding initial speed, and correcting the speed command value in rounding acceleration based on the speed error in the case where the speed command value calculated in the present operation period exceeds the predetermined acceleration rounding initial speed.
