Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continue safely speed control even if a trouble rises in part of pinch rolls by operating tachometer generators of many pieces of the pinch rolls so as to backup the others during casting.
CONSTITUTION: A speed control circuit is constituted of TG9-1W9-n, diodes 20F-1WF-n, 20R-1WR-n which are connected in the directions opposite from each other, contacts 10F-1WF-n, 10R-1WR-n and a contact selecting circuit 22 which controls the on and off of the contacts according to a tracking signal S6. All the contacts 10F-1W10F-n turned on and the contacts 10R-1W10R-n are turned off during casting.
