In vehicle speed control at the successive curves, a target vehicle speed property Vto is constructed by successively connecting a target property Vto1 at a first curve, a target property Vtoz between the curves, and a target property Vto2 at a second curve one another. The target property Vto* at the first or second curve is reduced until reaching a point Pcr* and becomes an appropriate vehicle speed Vqo* at the point Pcr*, and then, kept at Vqo* until a point Pca*, and afterward, decided to a property a*-b*-C*-d* increasing from the point Pca*. A restriction vehicle speed Vqo1 for an area between the curves is computed by adding an increment Vup calculated based on a distance between the curves to a larger appropriate vehicle speed Vqo*. Based on the Vqo1, a target property Vtoz between the curves is decided to property X-Y. A vehicle speed is regulated based on the target vehicle speed property Vto.
