Abstract:

To stably control an extrusion rate with high accuracy by determining a control gain in a control system for adjusting a delivery of a hydraulic pump based on a mathematical model expression, using the mathematical model expression representing a relationship between the delivery of the hydraulic pump and a ram speed.

This control device 22 comprises a speed controller 24 of a ram 12 for carrying out a feedback control of a delivery of a hydraulic pump 20 such that the speed of the ram 12 is set to a predetermined target value, and control gain setting equipment 26 for determining the control gain of the speed controller 24. The speed controller 24 adjusts oil delivered from a hydraulic pump 20 such that a deviation becomes zero based on a deviation between a ram speed detection value detected by a speed sensor 28 mounted to the ram 12 and a ram speed set value, and is provided with a feedback controller 30 for controlling the speed of the ram 12 to the target value. Accordingly, a stable speed control of an extruder which can easily deal with a change of an extrusion condition can be realized.
