PURPOSE: To match the travel speed of a line body with its winding speed and winding the line body in line by detecting the winding radius for the next winding diameter but one of the line body which is now being wound and controlling the number of winding revolutions based on this detection value.
CONSTITUTION: A line body 3 is carried on the side of a tray 1 by its receiver 6 and wound around the cylindrical sections 1b and 1c of the tray 1 through a flexible variation quantity detector 2. The tray 1 is revolved by a driving device 2. The driving device 2 is controlled based on the travel speed signal Sa from a device 7 which drives the receiver 6 and the correction signal from a winding radius detector 4. The roller 21 of the winding radius detector 4 makes contact to the line body 3. When the radius of the line body 3 changes, the roller move also and switches S1 and S2 are actuated. Until the switches turn off, a pulse motor 14 rotates and this rotation amount is input in a drive control section 9.
