Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the transient responding characteristic of a motor by digitally detecting the speed, performing the judgement and the calculation based on the digital value, and varying the operation mode in response to the rotating speed of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generator 2 shapes an AC signal of frequency proportional to the rotation of a motor 1 to be controlled at its speed to a pulse signal. A speed detector 3 outputs a digital signal corresponding to the rotating speed of the motor 1 based on the pulse signal of the generator 2. This digital signal is inputted to an arithmetic unit 4, which outputs a signal which relates to both the rotating speed and the rotating phase of the motor. A power supply unit 5 controls the supplied power of the motor 1 in response to the output of the unit 4, and the motor 1 is rotated at the prescribed rotating speed.
