Abstract:
To reduce the noise and vibrations of a speed converter, and to improve efficiency.SOLUTION: A speed reducer 16 that is a speed converter includes a planetary gear mechanism 28 and a planetary roller mechanism 30 of the same type arranged in parallel between an input shaft 22 and an output shaft 26, and a centrifugal clutch 48 that disconnects the input shaft 22 and the planetary gear mechanism 28, when the rotation speed of the input shaft 22 is a predetermined rotation speed or more. The planetary gear mechanism 28 and the planetary roller mechanism 30 converts speed between the input shaft 22 and the output shaft 26 to transmit power. A speed ratio of the output shaft 26 with respect to the input shaft 22 in a non-load state of the planetary roller mechanism 28, is the same as a speed ratio of the planetary gear mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
