Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of speed of a plurality of movable bodies.SOLUTION: A speed detection apparatus comprises: a speed data generation unit for generating speed data indicating speed in accordance with the time sequence on the basis of a detection signal outputted by a Doppler sensor according to a travel speed of an object; a separation point setting unit for setting a point of time at which a deviation index value indicating the degree of deviation between a peak value of speed from an analysis start point of time to an analysis point of time of speed data and a value of speed at the analysis point of time reaches a target value, as a deviation value; a first speed detection unit for identifying a speed detection period on the basis of the separation point and detecting the speed of a first speed detection target object on the basis of a peak value of speed data in the identified speed detection period; a speed distribution data generation unit for generating speed distribution data indicating distribution of intensity for each speed component on the basis of the detection signal; and a second speed detection unit for detecting the speed of a second speed detection target object on the basis of a peak value of intensity of a speed component in the speed distribution data.
