Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a speed governor for engine capable of miniaturizing a general purpose engine without changing the distance between axes of a governor mechanism and a crank shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A governor drive gear 2 is arranged towards the shaft end of a crank shaft 11 nearer than a timing gear 3, and this governor drive gear 2 is installed on the outer periphery of the timing gear 3 free to connect and disconnect. Consequently, it comes to be possible to miniaturize a governor mechanism. Accordingly, a crank case is miniaturized, and a general purpose engine can be effectively miniaturized.
