To provide a speed-maintaining control device for improving fuel consumption while maintaining a target speed when travelling at a vehicle speed region where travelling resistance is reduced.
The speed-maintaining control device executes speed maintaining control to maintain the speed of a hybrid vehicle with an engine and a motor as driving sources at a set cruise target speed (c-point on a line C). An upper limit speed (a-point on a line A) and a lower limit speed (e-point on a line E) are set above and under the cruise target speed. Repetitively, the vehicle is accelerated up to the upper limit speed with the engine as the driving source, it is made to travel with the engine stopped after reaching the upper limit speed, and it is accelerated up to the upper limit speed with the engine as the driving source started after reaching the lower limit speed.
