PURPOSE: To enhance the reliability of the photographs having been taken by letting the camera be actuated by an alarm signal only when actually measured value is good thereby performing photographing of running cars.
CONSTITUTION: A calibration signal generator 15 which generates calibration signals, a judger 25 and a gate circuit 28 which gates alarm signal with the output of the judger 25 are provided. The calibration signal 16 which is outputted from a signal generator 15 at each speed measurement of a running car 1 is inputted to a speed measuring instrument to perform speed conversion. The goodness or not of the actually measured value thereof is judged with the judger 25, by the output whereof the alarm signal is controlled in the gate circuit 28. Thereupon, a camera 14 is actuated by the alarm signal only when the actually measured value is good, whereby photographing of the running car 1 is performed.
