Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed nut in inexpensive costs.SOLUTION: A nut of this invention has a feature that a nut of standard product is utilized. This invention has a feature that a through hole is inclined by a desired size in respect to an axial center of the nut and a bolt just passes through the hole. The nut can be moved forward without any resistance when a bolt is inserted under a state in which it is inclined from the through hole and when an inclined extremity end of a seat surface of pressing at the nut bottom part comes in contact with a member to be fastened, the nut moves to be in parallel with a fastening member. At this time, a female thread at two points of a diagonal line of the nut comes in contact with a thread of the bolt. Although at that point, they are merely in contact with each other, as the nut is further forced to be fastened and rotated, the female thread of the nut and the thread of the bolt are engaged with each other and screwed and rigidly fastened to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
