Abstract:
To provide a small-sized speed reducer capable of obtaining a high speed reduction ratio.SOLUTION: A speed reducer 41 includes: an input shaft 51 rotated by receiving driving force; a fixed inner gear 53 coaxially fixed on the input shaft 51; an output inner gear 55 that is rotatably disposed coaxially with the fixed inner gear 53, and has the same pitch circle as the fixed inner gear 53 and a different number of teeth from the fixed inner gear 53; and a planetary gear 57 that is supported by the input shaft 51 so as to rotate about an eccentric shaft 61 parallel with the input shaft 51, and meshes with the fixed inner gear 53 and the output inner gear 55. By rotations of the input shaft 51, the planetary gear 57 meshes with the fixed inner gear 53 and revolves about the input shaft 51 while rotating about the eccentric shaft 61 to rotate the output inner gear 55.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
