Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide large deceleration and necessary slip at the time of overload by allowing a disc to roll on a resilient material at the circular inner surface of a stationary frame, and thereby drawing a trochoid curve with the center of said disc. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric cam 16 is fixed to the shaft 14 of a motor 10, and a resilient member 18 for provision of slip function is installed at the inner surface of a housing 12 formed cylindrically. Between these resilient member 18 and eccentric cam 16, a rigid disc 20 is interposed which rolls on the inner surface of the resilient member 18 with rotation of the eccentric cam 16 so that a trochoid curve is drawn. An output shaft 24 is mounted on a follower plate 26 which rotates in compliance with rotating disc 20.
