PURPOSE: To obtain a circuit having excellent operating efficiency with comparatively simple constitution by providing an absorber circuit provided with a resistor and a capacitor to the titled circuit and utilizing a current flowing to the absorber circuit so as to apply conduction control of a discharge transistor (TR).
CONSTITUTION: The absorber circuit 12 connected in parallel with a switching TR Q1 consists of a series circuit composing of a capacitor C1 and resistors R7, R8. In applying a drive current to a base of the TR Q1, the TR Q1 is turned on and a current flows to the primary winding of a transformer T1. The switching TR Q1 is turned on rapidly. When a capacitor C3 is charged, a base current keeps flowing through a resistor R2. When the supply of the drive current is stopped, the TR Q1 is turned off. The current flows through the capacitor C1 and the resistors R7, R8 and the emitter-collector voltage of the switching TR Q1 is reduced.
