Title:
SPEEDDCHANGE GEAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5610829
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress noise of engagement at the time of shifting by fitting the clutch gear in such a manner that it can slide with the forward and backward gears as well as providing a friction material to suppress the difference in revolving speed of a coupling sleeve and the clutch gear prior to the joining of these two. CONSTITUTION:When this speed-change gear, suitable for industrial vehicles, is to be shifted from the neutral to any forward position, the spindle 1 rotates by inertia under the neutral position even though the clutch is disengaged and the forward and backward gears 7, 8 rotate in the opposite directions to each other by the action of a counter gear not illustrated here. When the shift fork 5 is moved to the forward gear 7 side, a coupling sleeve 4 moves in the same direction and a gear 11 moves to the left against the force applied by a spring 9 due to a ring's 25 fitting onto the clutch gear 11 firmly. The ring 25 works so that the sleeve 4 and the gear 11 will have the same speed, and when this is attained the gear 11 is engaged with the sleeve 4 by the aid of the spring 9.
