Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of low frequency noise being a so called dynamic groan during braking.
CONSTITUTION: Two inclining slits 5 crossing each other are formed in the lining 4 of a pad. A distance (a) between an intersection 9 between the two slits and the end part in the direction of width of the lining is reduced to a value lower than 1/3 of the width L of the lining.
