Abstract:
To provide a spherical bearing device manufactured by using a lightweight material, and applying proper wear characteristics to a penetrated shaft.
This spherical bearing device comprises a bearing housing, a plurality of split balls as a plurality of split ball parts mounted in the bearing housing for creating a composite ball having a spherical bearing surface in a state that the composite ball has a through hole and the through hole has a central shaft, and a bush fixed in the through hole of the composite ball not by interference fit and having stopping parts on each of axial end parts. Further a method of assembling the spherical bearing device is disclosed.
