Abstract:
To improve production efficiency of a method for manufacturing a spherical core having a small hardness difference between surface hardness and center hardness.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a spherical core includes pressurizing a rubber composition for core which contains (a) a base material rubber, (B) α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its metal salt having 3 to 8 carbon atoms as a co-crosslinking agent, (c) a crosslinking initiator, and (d) a terpene-based resin on conditions of a pressing temperature of 125°C to 180°C, pressing pressure of 1 MPa to 25 MPa and pressing time of 15 minutes to 40 minutes, thereby crosslinking the rubber composition for core, and molding a spherical core.SELECTED DRAWING: None
