Abstract:
To provide a spheroidal graphite cast iron having selection of main chemical components and structure, and further extremely high level hardness and tensile strength by a simple method, without using expensive chemical components nor using complex processes or treatments such as an austempering treatment.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a spheroidal graphite cast by casting a molten metal with a chemical composition containing, by mass%, C:3.0 to 4.0%, Si:1.5 to 2.5%, Mn:1.0% or less, P:0.04% or less, S:0.03% or less, Mg:0.02 to 0.1%, Cu:1.8 to 3.3%, Sn:0.01 to 0.05%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities with a second inoculation of 0.05 to 0.15 mass% of Fe-Si in terms of Si equivalence, conducting early shake-out at a state of austenite and conducting cooling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
