PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus capable of preventing such a phenomenon that thermoplastic particles bonded to the inside of a raw material head or a raw material jet nozzle to remain are heated by the remaining heat of a hot air jet nozzle to be melted and fixed.
SOLUTION: The leading end part of a hot air jet nozzle 9 is inserted into the annular raw material supply head 8 provided on the top plate 6 of a granulation tower 4. A raw material jet nozzle 12 injecting a solid-gas mixed fluid containing thermoplastic particles into the hot air ejected from the hot air jet nozzle 9 is attached to the inner periphery of the raw material supply head 8. The hot air jet nozzle 9 is supported in a freely rising and falling manner and, when the operation of a spheroidizing treatment apparatus is stopped, the hot air jet nozzle 9 is raised and the temp. rise of the raw material supply head 8 by the remaining heat of the hot air jet nozzle 9 is prevented to prevent the melting of the remaining thermoplastic particles.
