Abstract:

To provide a spike for golf shoes that solves disadvantages in existent spike constructions and is easy to manufacture and assembly.

The spike comprises two elements, or a plate 11 having a plurality of projections 12 and a center perforation 14, and a bolt 17. The plate 11 has along a dish 13 cut in its lower face, a plurality of radially inward protrusions 15 and at least two radially outward notches 16. The bolt 17 has, in the circumferential edge of its head 171, notches 18 more in number at least by two than the protrusions 15 that fit them. When the bolt head 171 is placed in the plate dish 13 to position the protrusions 15 in their associated notches 18, the remaining notches 18 paired with no protrusions 15 come into register to the plate notches 16 to form at least two openings in which a special tool can be inserted for easy bolt attachment and detachment.
