Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spike tire used for slip resistance of a vehicle on a frozen road in winter, and capable of taking in and out a spike of a tire by dispatch of a radio signal or the like from a driver seat.SOLUTION: The spike tire comprises: a main tire 2 for receiving mainly movable load and travel load; a tube 3 covering an outer peripheral face of the main tire 2; and a cover tire 4 covering the main tire 2 and the tube. Compressed air or the like is fed into the tube from a tire wheel part and then a sheet or the like having a spike is pressed from a hole disposed on a tread of the cover tire, thereby a tip end of the spike 8 is projected from the tread of the cover tire, and in addition, compressed air is discharged, thereby the tip end of the spike is taken in by means.
