PURPOSE: To make a recording medium always stably rotatable by energizing a medium driving pin to the outer peripheral direction of a rotor, by which the start of engagement with a medium driving hole is executed always in a position from the other side of the recording medium.
CONSTITUTION: A leaf spring 1041h is fixed at one end to a leaf spring fixing part 1041i to energize the medium driving pin 1041c toward the outer peripheral side of the rotor 1041A. Then, the start of the engagement of the pin 1041c and the medium driving hole 101d is executed always in the position from the outer peripheral side of the recording medium. As a result, the pin 1041c and the hole 101d are liable to move always to the engagement completion position at the point of the time of peroration and, therefore, the rotation of the recording medium is stabilized and the errors at the time of operation, such as recording and reproducing, are decreased.
