Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a thin, downsized, low power dissipation spindle motor for magnetic disc drive in which dispersion of oil mist is prevented.
CONSTITUTION: In the spindle motor for magnetic disc drive, a labyrinth seal 18 is constituted in a gap between the flange plane part of a flanged bearing 9a and the opposing surface of a spindle hab 2 in order to prevent dispersion of oil mist.
