Title:
SPINDLE MOTOR AND RECORDING DISK DRIVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3786355
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a discrepancy of a hub/shaft joining part caused by a clamp force functioning on the hub in a spindle motor having a screw hole to be fitted with a screw for bending a disk clamp at an edge face of one edge of a rotation shaft joined to a central hole of a hub.
SOLUTION: In the spindle motor 1, a hub 14 and a shaft 15 are pivotally supported to a cylindrical hollow sleeve 11. The hub 14 has a disk 31 with a central hole and a cylindrical part 33 projected from an inner circumferential edge to an axial direction. The shaft 15 is a member provided inward in a radial direction of the inner circumferential face of the sleeve 11, and one end of the shaft 15 is engaged with an inner circumferential face 38 of the cylindrical part 33. One end face of the shaft 15 has a screw hole 49 to be fitted with a screw member 89 for bending a disk clamp 88.
