Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spindle for rolling mill, which can correspond to large and small sizes of work rolls.
CONSTITUTION: A small diameter coupling 14 is fitted as swingable to one end of a small diameter spindle body 15. A large diameter spindle body 17 is arranged as freely expandably/shrinkably at the outer periphery of the small diameter spindle body 15. A large diameter coupling 16 having a larger inner diameter than the outer diameters of the small diameter coupling 14 and the small diameter spindle body 15 is fitted as swingable to one end of the large diameter spindle body 17. A common input coupling 18 is fitted as swingable to the other end of the large and small spindle bodies 17, 15.
