PURPOSE: To prevent fault from being generated by repeatably using, for a long time, a detecting mechanism for stopping a spindle for operating a switching valve on a plurality of stopping positions which are set beforehand, in a device which is selectively used two kinds of flow-out passages such as a faucet for a shower bath by the switching valve.
CONSTITUTION: A detecting mechanism formed in such a constitution that a roller 7 and a spring for energizing the roller 7 are housed in a housing hole 9 formed on a spindle 1 and a recessed part 6 which is engaged with the roller 7 is formed on a sleeve 4 housed integratedly in a spindle case 2, a roller receiving member 10 which is provided with a mounting recessed part 10a and which is slidably moved in the housing hole 9 is interposed between the roller 7 and the spring 8. It is thus possible to release by the receiving member 10 that abrasion force and stress which are generated when the roller 7 is moved in advance and retreat are concentrated locally.
