Title:
SPINNERET FOR HOLLOW YARN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3220050
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinneret capable of preventing abrasion and deformation of the shape of each discharge hole for a long period, suppressing the deposition of foreign materials at the end of the discharge hole and maintaining good spinning performances without causing broken hollow parts, denier unevenness or broken yarns.
SOLUTION: This spinneret for hollow yarns is composed of a group of plural circular arclike slit holes H, capable of discharging a thermoplastic polymer and bored on the same circumference C and protruding channels 2 protruding in the direction to the center of the circumference C and the direction opposite to the center at both ends of the group of the circular arclike slit holes H. In this case, an intersecting part of the discharge surface of the spinneret where the group of the slit holes H are opened and the wall surface on the side of the slit holes H is chamfered and machined into a curved shape and/or a straight-line shape. At this time, the protruding channel parts 2 are more greatly chamfered than nonprotruding channel parts 1.
