PURPOSE: To obtain a spinning apparatus capable of suitably imparting a desired feed difference by meshing part of a gripping part in a front top roller and a front bottom roller and providing the gripping part present in plural kinds of gripping states.
CONSTITUTION: A fluted part (5b) of a front top roller 5 and a fluted part (6b) of a front bottom roller 6 are meshed to deliver a fleece 2' of a roving 2. A fleece 1' of a roving 1 is delivered without applying meshing action of a smooth part (5a) of the front top roller with the fluted part (6a) of the front bottom roller. Thereby, spun yarn having the fleece 1' arranged in a core part by a difference in delivery speed of the fleeces 1' and 2' and the fleece 2' arranged in a sheath part is obtained.
