Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spinning finish capable of imparting excellent spinnability to aromatic polyamide fibers and capable of producing spun yarns having high qualities by compounding a specific organic salt and a polyorganosiloxane.
SOLUTION: This spinning finish for aromatic polyamide fibers comprises an organic salt of the formula [R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each the same or different 1-18C aliphatic hydrocarbon or 2-3C hydroxyalkyl; R5 is a 1-8C aliphatic hydrocarbon; X is N or P; (m) and (n) are each 1 or 2, wherein (m)+(n)=3] such as an organic phosphonium phosphate or an organic phosphonium phosphate and an amino-modified polyorganosiloxane in a weight ratio of 10/90 to 60/40 in a total amount of 50-90 wt.%, and further 50-10 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant.
