Abstract:
To adapt yarn winding speed and withdrawing speed to each other by controlling individual drive device during formation of bunch winding in which yarn is wound around a wound pipe by parallel coils in order to minimize labor for forming the bunch winding and allow yarn tension to definitely fix the position of the bunch winding around the wound pipe.SOLUTION: A spinning machine operating method and a spinning machine are provided. In the spinning machine, a large number of work units 2 of the spinning machine each have an open end/rotor spinning machine to manufacture a yarn 7, a yarn withdrawing device to withdraw the yarn from the spinning machine, and a winding device 4 to form a cross winding package 8; a winding device has a package frame 9, which holds a wound pipe and is pivotally supported, and a package drive drum 11, which can rotate and drive the wound pipe or the cross winding package; the yarn withdrawing device 14 has a withdrawing roller 40 capable of driving; and the work unit has at least one individual drive device 23, 39 that drives the package drive drum or the withdrawing roller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
