Abstract:
To provide a spinning method in which fine fibrous substances are directly accumulated in a liquid to produce a fiber bundle in one process.SOLUTION: There is provided a spinning method that comprises a first step of producing a fiber bundle in which an electric field is applied to fine fibrous substances in a liquid to align a direction of the fine fibrous substances and accumulate them. A spinning device M2 comprises a container 10 in which a low dielectric constant liquid 3 is put in, an electrospray nozzle (ESN) 1 that is a first electrode 1 connected to a power source 4 and arranged in the container, a second electrode 2, and a winder 9 outside the container. A dispersion liquid 8 containing fine fibrous substances is filled into an injector 7 communicating with the ESN. A droplet 5 of the dispersion liquid 8 sprayed into the liquid 3 accumulates in an electric field while extending in a direction of an electrical flux line E while losing a dispersion medium to form a filamentous gel 6 in which fine fibrous substances are gathered. The winder 9 pulls up the gel out of the liquid and winds up while forming the gel to produce a long yarn from a gel-dried fiber bundle 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
