Abstract:
To provide a spinning method which does not cause vibrations, wrinkles and cracks.
A filler material made of foam resin is preliminarily injected or inserted into the inside of a pipe member, and the diameter of the pipe member is reduced together with the filler material by means of a pressing roller. Therefore, when the diameter of the thin wall metallic pipe body is reduced by spinning, the elastic deformation due to the insufficient stiffness of the pipe member can be suppressed, and unsuccessful forming, such as the generation of vibrations, wrinkles and cracks, can be prevented, and the accuracy of a shape and a forming speed can be improved.
