Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the entry of foreign materials into the interior of a rotor while omitting a step for causing an increase in production cost of a reel.
SOLUTION: This spinning reel is equipped with a reel body 2, a rotor 3 and a spool 4. The reel body 2 can be attached to a fishing rod and a circumferential surface 12 is formed at the front thereof. The rotor 3 is provided with a cylindrical part 30, attached to the circumferential surface 12 with a gap kept therebetween and freely rotatably supported on the reel body 2, a foreign material housing part 17, installed over the whole periphery of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 30 and used for capturing foreign materials entering from the gap, a pair of rotor arms integrally formed with the cylindrical part 30 on the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical part 30 and a bail arm attached to the pair of rotor arms so as to be freely shaken. The spool 4 is attached to the reel body 2 at the front of the rotor 3 so as to be freely moved back and forth.
