To provide a support for a plant, capable of being easily handled, when and after it is used, and capable of being independently used, no matter which kind of the plant, such as a plant solely standing, a branching plant, a creeping plant, and a plant producing fruits, is supported thereon.

This support is formed so that a bottom part which is inserted into the ground is formed into a straight pole and sharpened, and a part which supports the plant above the ground is formed into a spiral shape, wherein the support is, for example, made of iron, etc., and formed into a pipe shape as a whole, and its surface is coated with a synthetic resin material. Further, the part formed into the spiral shape is gradually enlarged in diameter, as its ascends upward, and a topmost area of the part is horizontally cut. The part is, namely, formed into a vortex shape in a top view. Therefore, such troubles caused by conventional supports for the plant that the conventional support is does not support various kinds of plants, especially the plant on which heavy fruits are produced, when independently used, the conventional support is inclined to deform and rust during its use, and handling of the conventional support is troublesome, when and after it is used, are eliminated.
