Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure a slow-wave circuit to be free from deformation in an exhaust process, and eliminate an electron beam permeation adjusting process, thereby obtaining a less expensive spiral type traveling-wave tube.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral type traveling-wave tube has a spiral type slow-wave circuit 13, and a hollow metal exhaust passage 14 for connecting a collector 8 to an electron gun section 11. The hollow metal exhaust passage 14 is constituted of the first exhaust passage part 15, the second exhaust passage part 16 and a bellows assembly 17 having a stopper.
