Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a wood of an adjacently installed cabinet from being rotted caused by scattering of splashed water from a washbowl or a spout around the washbowl during hair washing while using the washbowl or to prevent malodor caused by splashed water flowing down along the gap of the cabinet or the like and being stagnant there and being rotted.
CONSTITUTION: Adjacently to the side part of the washbowl, a water receiver 28 is arranged for receiving water splashed from a spout 14 or the washbowl. Besides, the water receiver 28 is provided with a flange-shaped cover element 38 laterally extending from its upper end and discending, and the cover element 38 is overlapped on the upper surface of the side part of the washbowl.
