Abstract:
To provide a droplet prevention mouthpiece that prevents droplets ejected from a treated person from diffusing and makes it hard for medical workers to be exposed to the droplets during an operation such as inserting an endoscope and other tools into the oral cavity of the treated person and furthermore, increases convenience by its simple structure.SOLUTION: The droplet prevention mouthpiece includes: a guiding tube part that is bitten by the mouth of a treated person and forms an insert penetration path of a first tool when inserting the first tool into the mouth of the treated person; a side edge opening part that extends from the proximity of an opening leading end of the guiding tube part to the left side or the right side of the opening leading end and allows a second tool different from the first tool to be inserted into the mouth; an intercepting sheet part that is attached to the opening leading end and the side edge opening part and intercepts droplets ejected from the inside of the mouth of the treated person and has a penetration part of the first tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
