Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely mount/dismount a pair of optical fibers with simple constitution.
SOLUTION: Cylindrical members 10, 12 to which the optical fibers 22, 24 are inserted respectively, are inserted to a sleeve 14, respectively, and the end faces of each of the cylindrical members 10, 12 are joined together. A coil spring 20 is mounted on the screw parts 42, 44 of flanges 16, 18 fixed on the terminal parts of the cylindrical members 10, 12, and the flanges 16, 18 approach to each other by the pressing force of the coil spring 20, and the end faces of the optical fibers 22, 24 are coupled together optically.
