Abstract:
PURPOSE: To promote reliability of a spliced pile and to make efficient spliced pile work by providing a pair of permanent magnets to a spliced pile objective, and mounting a powder dissolution device capable of performing thermit welding on them to use it as a spliced pile device.
CONSTITUTION: A welding device is so constituted that a pair of circular permanent magnets 1 and 1 are attracted to a receiving pipe 12 making the welding device an object and that one half crusible and an upper lid 8 are mounted on them. A pouring gate 6 is provided to the crusible 2, and molten metal flows in groove ends of spliced pile objective pipes 12 and 13 through an injection port of the pouring gate 6. Then, after joint sections of the receiving pipe 12 and spliced pipe 13 are connected around the pouring gate 6, mixing powder such as ferrous oxide and an ignition agent, etc., is put in a saucer of the pouring gate 6 and is ignited and dissolved, and molten metal is received from an injection port of the pouring gate 6 to weld the pipe 12 to the spliced pipe 13.
