PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate loss at the change of arrangements and development of a roughened cut section by a method wherein a front truck and a rear truck, which are respectively movable to the widthwise direction and to the longitudinal direction of a green rubber sheet, a sheet delivering, a length detecting, a size cutting and a sheet preheating means and a pressure joining device of both ends of the sheet are equipped.
SOLUTION: A green rubber sheet 1 wound in a roll is journaled on the front truck 11 or the rear truck 12 of a sheet delivering means 52 and prepared and changed for each other in response to the kind of product. The rubber sheet 1 delivering during its running towards the X-direction is carried to a cutting device 56 so as to measure its moving length with a length detecting means 57 and then cut widthwise with a size cutting means 51. A roller controller 42 supports the resultant sheet movably so as to hold its end parts above a preheating means 53 for the predetermined period of time for heating. The above-mentioned actions are performed by means of a control system 36 equipped with magnetic cards. Next, under the condition that the tip part and the tail part of the sheet is butted against each other so as to be pressure-welded to each other with a sheet joining device 55 in order to form a cylindrical rubber sheet 46.
