To provide a splint which can be easily attached to a strip-like work and optionally attached/detached to/from the work without damaging or soiling it, and can exhibit the work completely without spoiling aesthetic value of the work.

A splint 10 is divided vertically in the axial direction by two parting planes 12, 13 which are flexing/crossing in the center 11 of a section falling at right angles with the axis, and when a segment in a side where the angle θ of intersection which two parting planes 12, 13 make is smaller is a first segment 10a and the other segment is a second segment 10b, a perforation 15 is formed from an outer surface 14 of the first segment 10a towards either of the parting planes 13, a screw hole 16 coaxial with the perforation 15 is provided at the parting plane 13 corresponding to the second segment 10b, the first and the second segments 12, 13 are piled, and a strip-like display article 3 is sandwiched between parting planes 12, 12 of a side which does not have screw holes 16, and the strip-like display article 3 is also fixed/supported between the segments 10a and 10b by tightening the screw member 17 inserted through the perforation 15.
