To finish a flow edge part at the end edge of a tread rubber for regeneration on a various kinds of base tires in the same manner and thereby obtain a retread tire with a good appearance by constituting a split mold for the retread tire in such a manner that the degree of pressing the flow edge part at the end edge of the tread rubber for regeneration to the base tire side can be regulated.
The split mold 11 for a retread tire comprises a pair of upper/ lower side molds 2, 2, a sector 3 with a segment 5 and an actuator 4. A dovetail-shaped recessed groove 6, into which the actuator 4 is fitted is formed vertically in the sector 3. In addition, the upper side mold 2 is provided in such a way that it is freely brought into contact with and separated from the lower side mold 2. On the outer peripheral face of each of the side molds 2, 2, a flow stop part 12 is attached and a projecting piece part 16 is formed outwardly in the diametral direction and a regulator 17 such as a bolt is screwed into the part 16, in the flow stop part 12. The flow stop part 12 is moved by rotating the regulator 17, considering the finish condition of a flow edge part at the end edge of a tread rubber.
