Abstract:

To provide a split type arched culvert that can stand by itself without being supported by a crane, and also can be assembled and constructed with good workability, and its construction method.

A side wall member 1 includes a bottom slab part 2 which has a bottom face to be placed on an upper surface of a foundation 11, a straight wall part 3 which is provided vertically on the bottom slab part 2, and an arch part 4 extended in an arch shape from an upper end of the straight wall part 3. A pair of side wall members 1, in each of which a height B of the straight wall part 3 is twice or more as large as a width A of the bottom slab part 2, a reinforcing bar 5 fixed to a main reinforcement 4b of the arch part 4 is provided at a peak part of the arch part 4 to project, and a perpendicular foot from the center of gravity of the side wall member 1 to an upper surface of the foundation 11 is positioned in a bottom surface of the bottom slab part 2, are arranged so that peaks of the arch parts 4 face each other, the reinforcing bars 5 projected from the peak parts of the arch parts 4 are bound together using a distributing bar 13, and cast-in-place concrete 14 is cast into a recessed part 12 between the peak parts of the arch parts 4.
