Abstract:

To provide a split type conjugate fiber and fiber structure in which the alignment and shape of a polyamide component is not specified, excellent in splitting property and having sufficiently satisfying performance in polishing use for industrial precision instruments that requires a higher perfectibility in splitting.

The invention relates to the split type conjugate fiber comprising a polyester component and a polyamide component wherein the plurality of segments of polyamide component exist in the polyester component in the cross-sectional shape of a monofilament cut in the rectangular direction to the longitudinal direction of the fiber, and aliphatic acid amide is existing at least one component of the polyester component and the polyamide component.
