To provide a split type rolling bearing to be assembled without restricting its assembling efficiency, while reducing its dragging resistance during the operation of the bearing and suppressing the vibration, noises and breakage of split portions of a cage due to the collision of their circumferential end faces with each other during the operation of the bearing.
Fitted shape portions 22a, 22b fitted to each other via the split portions 21 of the cage 20 are integrally connected to each other by axially fitting a connection pin 23 into a fitting-in hole 24 formed in the fitted shape portions 22a, 22b along the axial direction. In the state that the connection pin 23 is not axially fitted into the fitted shape portions 22a, 22b, one split portion 21 of the cage 20 can be opened/closed between the fitted shape portions 22a, 22b with the connection pin 23 of the other split portion 21 as a supporting point.
