To provide a sponge holder, not obstructing working in a kitchen and sanitary space, keeping tidy, removably holding a scrubbing brush to be used so that it is convenient to use, well draining the scrubbing brush to be sanitary, and achieving a compact storing state.

A sucker 3 is provided on a cylindrical sponge holder 1. The sponge holder 1 is provided with a holding hole 5, and a projecting surface 2 of a Hook-and-Loop fastener is provided on the opposite surface of the holding hole 5 of the cylindrical holder. In the thus constructed sponge holder, a scrubbing brush or a steel wool having a rugged surface such as a sponge brush as a body 4 to be held is pressed to the projecting surface 2 of the Hook-and-Loop fastener of the sponge holder 1 and fixed in a surface contact thereto.
