To solve problems in the conventional dish washing method such as the chapping of skin as caused by soaking into flowing water to meet general requirements of rubbing off the fouling of dishes with a detergent-attached sponge directly held by a hand and the troublesomeness of wearing rubber gloves all the time for preventing the chapping of skin and those in the use of a water jet type dish washer such as the necessity of previously washing persistent stains and inconveniences due to the limited allowable quantity of washing, not too much or too little, in the use of the water jet type dish washer.
In the apparatus herein available, a sponge part for washing is rotated and the quantity of flowing water to the sponge can be adjusted to enable washing or rinsing by simply pressing dishes onto the sponge without directly touching a part to be washed. This sponge rotation type dish washer can correspond to persistent stains and various quantities of dishes thereby enabling easy washing of dishes with minimized wetting of hands.
